      Hearing set for Dec. 3 in state Superior Court

      With vote tallies indicating that he lost by a margin of less than 1 percent, Monroe Township Council candidate Stephen Dalina has filed for a recount of votes in the Ward 3 election. Reports show Dalina, a Democrat making his first run for council, with 2,038 votes, just 31 short of Republican Michael Leibowitz's 2,069 votes. More...

      Four categories of classes will kick off in January

      Aspiring actors, even those with no experience, can learn the craft at the new Playhouse 22 Acting Academy. The community theater troupe, which is in its first season of shows at the township's new Community Arts Center, Dunhams Corner Road in East Brunswick, recently announced plans to establish the acting academy for adults and children ages 9 and older.       JAMESBURG — Borough officials are reexamining its master plan with hopes of improving it to spur the type of development they believe is needed.
