JFVS to offer free women’s workshop

The Women’s Center at Jewish Family and Vocational Service (JFVS) of Middlesex County, Milltown, will host an upcoming free workshop to assist women who are separated, divorced, widowed or who have a disabled spouse.

An informational session on the workshop is set for 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center Drive.

The center assists women with jobsearch skills such as résumé writing, effective job-search techniques and interviewing skills. A representative from NJ Family Care also will be available to assist women and families in need of medical insurance.
