Miracle Network fundraiser set in O.B.

Christine Giardina, Miss Avalon 2010, will host a Kids Night to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network 5-9 p.m. March 16 at Friendly’s restaurant, 180 Ferry Road, Old Bridge.

The restaurant will donate 15 percent of customers’ bills to the Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for children’s hospitals nationwide. Customers should tell their server that they would like Friendly’s to include their order in the night’s fundraiser.

Youngsters will have the opportunity to make special crafts at their tables, meet Miss Avalon and have the local titleholder for the Miss New Jersey Organization serve them.

Giardina, a resident of Manalapan, won the Miss America Organization’s local title of Miss Avalon in October and will be a contestant in the Miss New Jersey Pageant in June.
