‘Taste of Middlesex’ slated for March 22
The 13th annual “Taste of Middlesex” will be held 5:30-8 p.m. Monday, March 22, at the Pines Manor, Edison.
Over 35 restaurants, caterers and food suppliers from the central New Jersey area will be serving samples of their chefs’ culinary skills. In addition, wine, beer and spirit distributors will give away samples.
Roxanne Evans, anchorwoman for News 12 New Jersey, will be the master of ceremonies. Edison fire and police departments will be engaged in a cook-off, and the Room 4 Four Jazz band will play while guests eat and drink. There will be lots of door prizes and fun for all.
Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable foods for a local shelter, and Edison CARES, a nonprofit, charitable organization, will conduct a 50/50 raffle to benefit Edison families.
The ticket prices are $45 in advance, $35 for seniors over age 65, and $50 at the door. Call the Edison Chamber of Commerce to register and to purchase tickets, 732-738- 9482. Please, no jeans and sneakers.
