The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership will sponsor a Theater Night fundraiser 7 p.m. March 20 at the George Street Playhouse, New Brunswick.

The event will begin with a wine-andcheese reception at the playhouse. Rachel Dratch, formerly of “Saturday Night Live,” will then star in “Sylvia,” a comedy about a street-smart dog who becomes a “bone of contention” between a couple facing an empty nest.

The performance will be followed by a post-production discussion with members of the artistic staff.

Tickets cost $38 and may be ordered from the theater by calling Michelle at 732-846-2895, ext. 134.

A portion of each ticket sale will go to funding the environmental work of the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership, a nonprofit panel working in the communities of South Brunswick, North Brunswick, East Brunswick, Milltown and New Brunswick for protection of the Lawrence Brook Watershed.
