Curtain to rise on ‘Hercules Fitch’

The Churchill Junior High School Drama Club will present “The Labors of Hercules Fitch” at 7 p.m. March 24 and 25 at the school, 18 Norton Road, East Brunswick.

The short play by Mark D. Kaufmann tells the tale of Hercules Fitch, a recent high school graduate who has been drafted by the CIA to track down the notorious “Mr. X.” Hercules is drawn into a complex web of adventures, while at home his family is falling apart. Against all odds, his “labors” may give him hope for his future.

The play is directed by Lynne Elson.

Tickets, which are available at the door, cost $6 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens. Playgoers who bring a bag of gently used clothing for donation to a clothing drive will receive $1 off admission.
