Daytime registration for new first-graders for the 2010-11 school year will be held in each of East Brunswick’s eight elementary schools on March 24.

Parents/guardians of children residing in East Brunswick, who did not attend kindergarten in the East Brunswick public schools and who will be 6 years old by Oct. 31, 2010, may register 9:30-11 a.m. or 1:30-3 p.m. Residents may call the transportation office at 732-613-6740 to find out the name of the school in their neighborhood where they should register. Registering at a particular school, however, does not guarantee that a child will be placed in that school. Parents/guardians are encouraged to log on to the district’s Web site at www.ebnet.org to see the items they need to bring with them for registration.
