Flower-arranging workshop set for 3/20

Deena Main, a Jamesburg resident and horticulturist, will present a hands-on flower-arranging workshop at the Rutgers 34th Annual Home Gardeners School (HGS) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 20. Workshop participants will learn basic techniques and create their own arrangements to take home.

Along with Main, more than 25 of the state’s top home horticulture experts will present 36 interactive lectures at HGS on topics ranging from canning fruits and vegetables to establishing and maintaining a home lawn to gardening projects for adults and children. The program will be held on the Douglass campus at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
