Wiley to speak on news media, bias
Journalist Charles Wiley will speak on the media, news bias, objective reporting and advocate journalists at the next meeting of the Old Bridge Toastmasters Club set for 7 p.m. March 25 at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
Wiley has appeared as a commentator and personality on numerous local and network television news programs. As a journalist, he has covered 11 wars and has reported for NBC, United Press International (UPI) and the London Express. He was arrested eight times by various secret police, including the KGB, and was imprisoned in Cuba.
