Mr. Michael, 71, of Old Bridge, died March 2, 2010, at home. Surviving are his wife, Alice Douglass Michael; a son, James Jr. of Monroe; a daughter, Meredith Offenberger of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Sharon Michael of Johnstown, N.Y.; and two grandsons. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
