Middlesex County’s Office of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension will celebrate Earth Day 4-7 p.m. April 22 at Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic dinner and blanket to enjoy an evening in the park. There will be tours of the EARTH Center’s compost display area and rain garden, as well as information on rain barrels and gardening tips. A limited number of free tree seedlings will be available. Local environmental groups, plus the Monroe Township Environmental Mobile, will be on hand. The Hub Kings will perform. Local 4-H Clubs will provide children’s activities.
