Event to raise funds for 9/11 memorial
The New Jersey 9/11 Memorial Foundation will hold a Night of Comedy fundraiser featuring a show, dinner and a silent auction, April 10 at the Primetime Comedy Club, 960 Route 9 south, Sayreville. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served 6-7:15 p.m. The comedy show will begin at 8 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Empty Sky, the New Jersey 9/11 memorial under construction in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, to honor the 745 New Jersey residents who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
The comedy show will feature Mike Marino (“New Jersey’s Bad Boy of Comedy”) and Marco Assante.
Expected silent-auction prizes will include Bon Jovi tickets, golf foursomes and more.
Tickets cost $45 for regular seating, with a two-drink minimum; $55 for box seats, with a two-drink minimum. Interested individuals may order tickets by logging on to www.primetimecomedyonline.com or by calling 732-721-6555.
