Signups set for story times, reading club

In-person registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. June 14 for the summer reading club, story times and other youth activities at the Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main St. Telephone registration will not be accepted.

Spotswood Library cardholders ages 3- 13 are invited to take part in Make a Splash at Your Library: Read, the library’s summer reading club. A reading log must be kept in order for participants to be eligible for weekly prizes and end-of-summer awards. The first day to log books will June 28; the last day will be Aug. 6.

Summer story times for children ages 3- 8 will be offered June 29-Aug. 5. Dates and times will be available at registration.

Red, White and Blue Day, a summer program opening-day event, is set for June 24. Youngsters ages 3-13 are encouraged to wear red, white or blue for the celebration. The event will feature games, crafts and prizes for most patriotic dress, etc.
