St. Stan’s Carnival 2010 will take place 6-11 p.m. June 23, 24 and 26, and 6 p.m.- midnight June 25 (food tent will open at 5 p.m.) on the St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish grounds, MacArthur Avenue and Main Street, Sayreville.

Discounted ride tickets and advance super-50/50 raffle tickets may be purchased at several area locations according to the following schedule:

• Sayreville Seafood and Deli, Washington Road, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 12 and 19, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 13 and 20;

• prior to Sunday-Afternoon Bingo at St. Stan’s auditorium, noon-1:30 p.m. June 13 and 20;

• prior to Tuesday-Night Bingo at St. Stan’s auditorium, 6-7:30 p.m. June 15 and 22;

• Camillo’s Restaurant, 31 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville, during regular business hours;

• St. Stan’s parish office, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays.

Carnival highlights will include rides for children and adults; games of chance; a “Las Vegas” money wheel for adults; nightly and super 50/50 drawings; a raffle for a 50-inch high-definition television; a food tent featuring a variety of ethnic and American homemade foods; a seafood area; Spezzi nightly specials; barbecued ribs; nightly entertainment; a beer garden; desserts; and a fish fry beginning at 5 p.m. on June 25.

The nightly lineup is as follows:

• June 23 — entertainment by two live bands, Here’s to Life and Hung Jury;

• June 24 — entertainment by Triple H Productions and the music of The Fog;

• June 25 — St. Stan’s School Alumni Night with music by two live bands, Angelina and the Boys With Taylor Hope and Take Cover;

• June 26 — the music of Shadow Road and a guest appearance by Col. David B. Kelly Pipes and Drums.
