St. Mary’s Church, 30 Jackson St., South River, will sponsor an Old-Fashioned Chicken Barbecue Dinner 5-7 p.m. June 19 in the parish center. Takeouts will be available beginning at 4 p.m.

The menu will include potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, barbecued chicken, a roll, dessert, coffee and tea.

Cost is $15 for adults, $5 for children under age 12. Tickets will be on sale after Masses, in the rectory during office hours and at the door.

Dinners, which will be prepared by Chef Carmen Spezzi, will be limited to 120.
