Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 568 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, will host a “High Seas Expedition” vacation Bible school 9-11:30 a.m. Aug. 2-6.

New this year is a class for parents or guardians to attend with their youngsters up to age 3. Regular classes also are available for children age 4 by Oct. 31, 2010, through those who have completed fifth grade.

Cost is $30 per child for the new class and $25 per child for regular classes; family maximum is $60. Some scholarship money is available. In order to help the program run smoothly, parents are asked to donate their time one morning during the week.
