The Monroe Township Recreation Department will hold its annual Fishing Derby for Monroe residents 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 10 at Molders Fish Farm, John Wall Road, Monroe.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Hooks, bobbers and worms will be provided. Participants must bring their own fishing poles. The free event will include refreshments. Prizes will be awarded in the various divisions.

Advance registration is required. The event is open to Monroe residents only.
