Residents invited to free concerts in parks

The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders free summer concert series will continue with performances in four county parks.

All concerts are free of charge and open to the public.

The upcoming schedule is as follows:

• July 25, 6-7:30 p.m. — Mark Heter and His Band, Warren Park Mini Theater, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge;

• July 25, 6:30-8 p.m. — The Scott Michaels Quartet: Pop Music Through the Years, Spring Lake Park Gazebo, Maple Avenue, South Plainfield;

• July 28, 2-3:30 p.m. — Bernie Goydish Jersey Polka Stars, Thompson Park gazebo, Forsgate Drive, Monroe;

• July 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m. — Bernie Goydish Jersey Polka Stars, Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, South Amboy/Sayreville beachfront, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy. In case of inclement weather, guests will be directed to the South Amboy Middle/High School auditorium by park rangers. Shuttle-bus service will be available, courtesy of Middlesex County Area Transit.
