East Brunswick Mayor David Stahl will host the township’s second annual Dining for a Cause community fundraiser beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road.

The casual event will begin with a light buffet dinner. A production of “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” will follow in the center’s Playhouse 22 theater.

All proceeds will benefit community and charitable causes in East Brunswick including the township’s free summer concerts and family programming; the food bank; summer-camp scholarships for at-risk children; programs for veterans at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park, Edison; and more.

Donation is $50 per person. Seating is limited to 100 individuals.

The event was developed to encourage residents to be involved in community causes at a time when citizens and local volunteer organizations are facing uncertain times.
