Collection bins set up inside the facility. Toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, feminine products, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, are sought. Donations benefit more than 1,000 Old Bridge adults and children in need.

• Fundraiser To Benefit Evan Ruggiero, 10 a.m.-midnight, at Carvel Ice Cream and Bakery, 2599 Route 516, Old Bridge. Proceeds will aid Evan’s fight against osteosarcoma. A 2008 graduate of Old Bridge High School, Evan is a student at Montclair State University, Upper Montclair.
• Organic (Chemical-Free) Lawn and Home-Cleaning Products and Natural Pest-Control Products Sale, sponsored by the Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership (LBWP), 10 a.m.-noon, at the group’s headquarters building, 85 Washington Ave., Milltown. The nonprofit LBWP, dedicated to the protection of the Lawrence Brook Watershed, seeks to encourage area residents to avoid the use of chemical lawn, garden and home-cleaning products in favor of natural products, which are healthier for the waterways and the environment. Proceeds sponsor nature walks, bike rides, environmental educational programs, administrative costs of engaging the public in watershed protection.
