Bike Run to aid boy’s fight against AML

The Jamesburg Elks Motorcycle Committee will sponsor its third annual Karl Cuff Memorial Bike Run Aug. 7 beginning with registration 9-11 a.m. at the Elks lodge, 74 W. Railroad Ave., and ending at the Hightstown American Legion Post, Route 130, East Windsor. Food, refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the end of the run.

This year’s event will benefit Jason D’Angelo, a local 5-year-old boy who at age 3 developed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Jason’s sister Mya, 7, has twice donated bone marrow to her brother. Jason is now in his 10th month of remission.

Proceeds from the run will go to defray the D’Angelo family’s medical expenses.

Cost is $20 per person. Individuals do not need to ride to show their support; all donations are appreciated. Families are invited to attend.

For more information, call the Elks at 732- 521-2180 or Bob Mitchell at 732-236-4898.
