Concerts continue in four county parks
The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders free summer concert series will continue with performances in four county parks.
All concerts are free of charge and open to the public.
The upcoming schedule is as follows:
• Aug. 1, 6-7:30 p.m. — The Scott Michaels Quartet: Pop Music Through the Years, Warren Park Mini Theater, Florida Grove Road, Woodbridge;
• Aug. 1, 6:30-8 p.m. — The Billion Dollar Sound, with leader Andy Madajewski and vocalist Sandy Sasso, Spring Lake Park Gazebo, Maple Avenue, South Plainfield;
• Aug. 4, 2-3:30 p.m. — The Great Rootin’ Tootin’ High Falutin’ Puttin’ on the Ritz Novelty Band, Thompson Park gazebo, Forsgate Drive, Monroe;
• Aug. 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m. — The Elefta Hungarian Folk Band, Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, South Amboy/Sayreville beachfront, O’Leary Boulevard, South Amboy. In case of inclement weather, guests will be directed to the South Amboy Middle/High School auditorium by park rangers. Shuttle-bus service will be available, courtesy of Middlesex County Area Transit.
