      Dog returned safely, thanks to three ‘angels’
           It’s been a few weeks since I met three “angels” who made my birthday a happy one. Recently, it was my 69th birthday. I took my beloved dog in the back of my complex in Sayreville and removed his leash so he could stretch his legs and run around freely and safely in the enclosed backyard.

      Mayor, towns should stop complaining
           With reference to the article titled “New 2 Percent Tax Cap Gets Mixed Reviews” (Sentinel, July 22), I have but a short comment for Nancy Martin, mayor of Helmetta, who said, “Helmetta employees are going into their second year without an increase [in salary] and are now contributing 1.5 percent of their salary to health insurance.”
