Police make two prostitution arrests in one day
EAST BRUNSWICK — Police are continuing to crack down on alleged prostitution activity that is being arranged through the Internet.
The East Brunswick Police Investigative Division said it developed information that led officers to a room at the Days Hotel and to a residence on Lake Avenue on Route 18 on Sept. 30.
At both locations, an undercover detective posed as a possible customer and was offered sexual activity in exchange for money, according to police.
At the Lake Avenue home, detectives arrested 41-year-old Ning Wang of East Brunswick inside the residence and charged her with engaging in prostitution. East Brunswick detectives previously arrested Wang on Sept. 23 for the same offense, police said.
At the Days Hotel, detectives arrested 28-year-old Christina Bullock of Wharton, charging her with engaging in prostitution. Bullock was a registered hotel guest. Police said Bullock had active warrants for her arrest out of Newark, East Orange and Dover.
Both women were charged and released with court dates.
