Emergency blood drive set for Feb. 6

The East Brunswick Rescue Squad and St. Bartholomew’s Knights of Columbus will hold an Emergency Blood Drive 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 6 at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.

Blood-supply levels are at a critical low in the area. With the recent wave of snowstorms and ice storms, New Jersey Blood Services was forced to cancel a large number of blood drives, drastically affecting an already low blood supply.

Potential donors are asked to call John Hosie or the East Brunswick Rescue Squad at 732-387-8388 so organizers may request adequate staff from New Jersey Blood Services.
