The Sayreville PetAdoption Center (SPAC) will sponsor a Valentine’s Day Open House and Adoption Event noon-4 p.m. Feb. 11 and 12 at the shelter, 1400 Main St.

Adoption fees will be waived for all pets during the event; adoption applications are required. Pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, tested, dewormed, and will receive a veterinary wellness exam prior to adoption. In addition, the first 50 visitors ages 21 and above will receive a complimentary New Jersey Lottery Valentine scratch-off ticket for stopping by. The day also will feature complimentary refreshments, door prizes and Valentine’s Day gifts for pets and the people who love them.
