Women’s group plans Feb. 15 dinner
The Brunswick Women’s Connection, made up of women from the central New Jersey area, will host a dinner featuring the 2 ChicksWith Chocolate store, South River, 7-8:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at The Chateau, 678 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
When a disabling car accident left her unable to commute to work, 2 Chicks founder Elyissia Wassung’s mother turned to making chocolate in her kitchen. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Elyissia made it her goal to bring inspiration through chocolate and to make 2 Chicks a household name.
Guest speaker Ella Furlong of the Skillman section of Montgomery will share her personal life story, “Take Time to Laugh,” and reveal how she found peace in the midst of stress.
Brunswick Women’s Connection is a nonprofit, nondenominational networking group affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries International. The group welcomes all women to attend the bimonthly dinner events, which include a feature, a dinner and an inspirational speaker; membership in the group is not required.
Tickets to the dinner cost $23 and may be purchased by cash or check at the door.
