The South River Police Department’s annual Basketball Free-Throw Tournament for all school-age South River youngsters is set for 9 a.m. Feb. 18 in the South River Middle School gymnasium, Montgomery Street.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each of six age categories and to the overall champion.

Waivers, which may obtained in the main office at each of the borough public schools, must be completed by the participant’s parents in advance and submitted no later than Feb. 16. Additional waivers will be available at the door for walk-ins on the day of the event; however, a parent must be present to sign.
